We are looking for highly enthusiastic researchers to broaden our think-tank with her/his intellectual power and technical excellence. The ideal candidate would have a Ph.D. degree in biochemistry, cell biology or neurobiology and a strong background in the biochemical analysis of enzymes and their substrates.
Required skills
- Hands-on experience in the biochemical analysis of enzymatic activity in vitro, in mammalian cells and/or in vivo
- Hands-on experience in the biochemical analysis of post-translational modifications
- Excellent knowledge of the background literature on tau in Alzheimer’s disease
- Ability to work in a milestone-driven environment
- Independent thinking
- Experienced to work in interdisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication skills in English
Additional preferred skills
- FELASA certificate is an asset
- A background in mass spectrometry is an asset
